Problem:
The user cannot run XpressPOS on Windows 7
Resolution:
It depends on permissions assigned to the user under Program Files. If
you are having trouble making XpressPOS run, or if you have a 64 bit
Windows 7, we recommend that the Saberis folder under Program Files, or
Program Files (x86), be given full permissions. Turning UAC (User
Account Control) off should do the trick.
XpressPOS V9, which will be released in the second quarter of next year,
will be fully compliant with Windows 7.
Additional Comments:
Sometimes it has been required that Saberis be installed under the root.
Also, setting the properties of xpresspos2006.exe, xpressposoas.exe and
saberisupdatemanager to "Run as Administrator".
